D’wess Productions was started in January of 2005 in Atlanta, GA. After attending many Monday Night Drag shows at The Legendary Traxx Night Club in Atlanta, I felt compelled to showcase these talented entertainers across the country. Already known by many, and being introduced to others, the recording of such a phenomenal show was needed. But before recording “The Stars of The Century” my camera and I started with another show first. Mid year I had the opportunity to work with the hilarious Miss Sophia who gave me my first opportunity to film a show. Shortly thereafter I presented my vision to Niesha Dupree who was over the cast at Traxx”. In June of 2005 I began the weekly tapings. This playing field allowed me to practice and perfect my craft and eventually move on to filming pageants. My first pageant was Miss Gay Atlanta in 2005. From there I had the opportunity to meet several Atlanta promoters such as Randall Smith (Renaissance) Bambi (Ebony International) Chris Higgins (Liberty International) and Bennie Mosley (Black America). All who became familiar with my quality of work through the weekly tapings of The Stars of the Century. From there, I quickly became popular throughout the pageant scene and secured bookings all across the country to video tape events. I have met so many wonderful people, entertainers and promoters. Many have played a huge part in my success through referrals and word of mouth in the early days, as I stayed under the radar slowly taking on 1 new pageant at a time and handling DVD requests through emails or video booth set up.

Dwess.com unfortunately did not surface until late 2008. However, within a year, this website has quickly become the #1 Destination to view and order pageants from all across the country. Along with special features and the very popular “Intimate Moments”, Dwess.com is heavily trafficked on a daily basis. I want to personally thank EVERYONE for your patronage and support as I continue to grow and continue to bring the World of pageantry into your homes.
